Manastash Ridge


Hiking was one day where I totally felt like I knew what I was doing. We hike the Manastash Ridge and it was a great workout and so much fun. We had a group of 11 of us and we had a tone of fun together. I lead the group up the ridge because I have done the hike before. It was fun being able to hang out with people outside of the classroom and got a work out at the same time. I hope that one day I could do something like this with my class, because I think that it is always important to get out of the school setting and have some fun. Hiking is perfect for that, our class walked the whole time and our professors had a heart rate monitor on and she said that her heart rate got up into zone. Therefore, we got a great work out while being able to see some nature and have fun.
